The department of ECONOMICS was established in the year 1975 with the combination of history and political science.
Objectives:

To provide knowledge of the basis of economics.
The economics programmes aim to provide effective systems of learning, academic guidance.
To provide knowledge about how markets and other governance structures organize core economic activities.
To train the students to identify and explain economic concepts and theories to the behavior of economic agents, markets, industry
