Profile:
The DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS & ELECTRONICS was established in the year 1976 with a student strength of 4 with Math’s, Physics & Chemistry combinations in E.M.
The dept. was branched with MPE , MPCS combinations in the year 1982
MPE group was restructured into MECS in the year 2007
The dept. was started with one Lecturer in 1976 and at present the department is running with 4 teaching staff , 4 non teaching staff and with student strength 266.
Objectives:

To provide a sound knowledge of the basics of Physics & Electronics.
To cultivate scientific skills.
To train the students to have knowledge and skills on electrical circuits, analog and Digital Electronics and Power Electronics.
To coach the students through instruction of Fundamental Information and Contemporary educational Methods in Electronics
To Promote the Scientific and Educational activities towards the advancement of theory.
To provide a High Quality Education which prepares students for further study and research in electronics.

Healthy Practices:

Student Profile with socio Economic back ground is maintained
Students performance is monitored and communicated through progress reports to their parents
Every teacher is allocated with 20-30 students who mentors the students in every aspect for the all round development of the student.
Career Guidance is given to the students by organizing different programs
Special guidance will be given for the preparation to various competitive exams and P.G entrance.
